PROJECT MANAGER
Provide leadership in facilities and project management, monitoring and ensuring all facilities and property are well managed and are in the right order.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
1. Evaluate support services, identify needs, anticipate problems and implement corrective actions
.2. Plan, organize, manage and supervise the functions and activities of the maintenance team including the maintenance electrician and plumber
3. Understand the overall working of all the installations and equipment at the property
4. Ensure that all the installations on site including fire, sump and borehole pumps, generators, lifts,mechanical ventilation systems, fire alarm and detection system, BMS system, etc are regularly andproperly serviced and are in good working condition at all times
5. Oversee supervision of the vendors contracted to service all equipment and assets within the building
6. Supervise maintenance of accurate service schedules for the installations on site
7. Maintain operations manuals for all the installations at the property
8. Maintain a register of all assets at the property
9. Troubleshoot problems with any of the installations and take remedial action
10. Ensure compliance and implementation of the Building Operations Manual
11. Establish a preventive maintenance program for repair and maintenance work
12. Growing business and sourcing for properties for Facility management within the Region.
13. Growing business and sourcing for project management assignments within the Region.
14. Develop maintenance schedules for a portfolio of properties.
15. Maintain appropriate records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes
16. Maintain an Occupational Safety and Health Policy in accordance with Occupational Safety andHealth regulations and standards
17. Ensure the client’s reports are prepared in good time and accurately.
18. Ensure your staff performance review is done in good time. Organize and conduct fire drills for the building’s occupants
Key Skills and Knowledge & Attributes.
- Bachelor of Quantity Surveying or its equivalent
- At least five (5) years relevant experience
- Job Skills & Personal Attributes
- Leadership
- Excellent written communications and analytical
- Problem solving
- Be registered with a relevant professional body. Full membership in BORAQS for example.
